Liam Callaghan

Junior Software Developer

About me...

I am a Software Developer with a strong desire for helping others.
After earning valuable experience in the hospitality industry from a young age, my goal of contributing something tangible to society has taken me down a more technical route.
I have completed a Software Engineering Immersive Program from General Assembly, giving me the tools to support my ability to problem solve.
I bring out of the box thinking and a strong ability to analyse issues to any team I work with. I would love to work in ethical tech, as this is both where my long-term career goals start and the best way for me to directly help people in my new role.

When I am not at work I enjoy playing music with the bands I am in, reading (mostly science fiction and fantasy), and skiing if I am near the snow.
I spent my childhood living in the ski fields of Australia and reading Stephen King.
Now that I live in London I play bass for two bands, Spit Sisters and The Spares, and my apartment is full of books (not just Stephen King).
